WOMEN’S HISTORY month & ALLYSHIP

In this workshop, attendees will acquire an understanding of gender-based microaggressions and how to correct mistakes in language. By engaging in an intersectionality exercise, appreciation of the diverse identities and intersections that shape our individual experiences will be enhanced. This seminar is intended for organizations who want to infuse gender equity, inclusion, and allyship into daily interactions with coworkers and customers.

Honor Women's History Month and International Women's Day with an educational and empowering seminar. Join a meaningful discussion focused on history, understanding biases, and learning invaluable tools so you can incorporate allyship year-round.

In this seminar we will address:

Women's History with Trivia

Progress while recognizing issues faced today

Intersectionality through a reflective exercise

Privilege (gender-based) through a personal lens

Discernment between the pursuit of equity or equality

Active allyship

While women's history and allyship is a conversation to have through the year, some recommended months to have this are in March (Women's History Month in the US, Mexico, UK, Australia, and others) or October (Women History Month in Canada).
