Honor the LGBTQ+ community with this seminar celebrating diversity of sex, gender, and sexuality. In this judgment-free zone, learn about the history, LGBTQ+ historical figures, issues faced today, and why pride matters. Through exercises that prompt critical thinking, individuals will develop their understanding, compassion, and empathy towards the LGBTQ+ community. Through becoming competent in appropriate terminology, inclusive language, and proper pronoun use, steps can be taken towards LGBTQ+ allyship.

While the LGBTQ+ community can be celebrated all year, this seminar is especially relevant in June and Summer months (Pride Month timing depends on your city) and October (LGBT History Month).
